ARGAN OIL | Argania Spinosa
What is it? Oil extracted from the nuts of the Argan Tree from Morocco.
What are its benefits? Provides deep, nourishing moisture for skin, scalp and hair. Rich in omega 6, vitamin A and E. Helps regulate sebum and skin PH.
Great for all skin types. Works well for hair and beards as a leave-in conditioner taming frizz and repairing split ends without a greasy feel.

AVOCADO OIL | Persea Gratissima
What is it? Oil pressed from the fleshy pulp surrounding the avocado pit. Believed to have originated from South-Central Mexico.
What are its benefits? Full of healthy fats (including oleic acid and omega 3 fatty acids) and skin nourishing vitamins A, D and E. Non-greasy. Nutrient rich. Helps soothe and heal dry / damaged skin.

BLACK CUMIN SEED OIL | Nigella Sativa
What is it? Oil from Nigella Sativa seeds - a plant indiginous to parts of Europe, Asia, & Middle East. Also known as nigella sativa seed oil.
What are its benefits? Contains thymoquinone, which is an antioxidant compound. May help reduce inflammation and support healthy skin and gums.

CANDELILLA WAX | Euphorbia Cerifera
What is it? Wax that comes from leaves of the Candelilla shrub indigenous to northern Mexico and the Southwestern US.
What are its benefits? Vegan alternative to Beeswax (with similar benefits as a skin-protective barrier agent) known to help prevent moisture loss from skin.
Quality standards: Meets National Formulary (NF) standards.
COCONUT OIL | Cocos Nucifera
What is it? Oil extracted from the fruits of Coconut Palm Trees. Fractionated coconut oil is produced when lauric acid has been removed from the coconut oil and primarily consists of the medium-chain triglycerides. Fractionated coconut oil is very similar to MCT Oil.
What are its benefits? Rich in antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E and a unique combination of fatty acids. Penetrates, moisturizes and supports skin in a way that few other oils can. MCT oil quickly sinks in without clogging pores or oily residue.

JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL | Ricinus Communis
What is it? Oil from the bean/seed of the Castor Oil Plant, Ricinus Communis. Used for centuries as a medicine and skin ointment. “Jamaican Black” comes from roasted beans creating ash (and a higher PH than regular castor oil) and is the best quality available.
What are its benefits? Rich in Omega 9 and antioxidants. Nourishes skin, while supporting a healthy scalp and hair.

GOLDEN JOJOBA OIL | Simmondsia Chinensis
What is it? Oil from seeds of the Jojoba Tree. Called oil, but actually a wax. Golden Jojoba oil is a higher grade than Jojoba with a rich golden color.
What are its benefits? Easily absorbed by skin giving instant and long lasting hydration and moisture. Rich in vitamins E and B complex, along with the essential mineral Zinc. Golden Jojoba is a healthy, gentle and powerful oil. Supports elasticity, softness and shine in hair.

OLIVE OIL | Olea Europaea
What is it? Oil from the fruits of Olive Trees. Known as “liquid gold” heralded by ancient Greeks, Egyptians, and Romans for its wide range of health promoting uses.
What are its benefits? Naturally rich in vitamins K, A and E, plant sterols and phenolic compounds. Fights free radical damage and soothes skin. Moisturizes, and helps protect both skin and hair.

PALM OIL | Elaeis Guineensis
What is it? Oil pressed from fruit of Oil Palm Trees. Controversy stems from Palm Oil harvested via clear cutting of forests in order to feed massive demand by the food industry often listed as “vegetable oils and fats”.
What are its benefits? It contains hard to find tocotrienols, (members of the vitamin E family) which are high-powered antioxidants. In soap, it is known for its ability to remove dirt and excess oils from hair and skin without stripping them.

SESAME SEED OIL | Sesamum Indicum
What is it? Oil from seeds of plants in the genus Sesamum, also called Benne. Indigenus to Africa.
What are its benefits? Rich in mono- and polyunsaturated acids (PUFAs) and is low in saturated fats. Contains the unique chemicals, sesamol and sesamin. Both are powerful antioxidants and may help reduce inflammation. Rich in B-complex vitamins.

What is it? Comes from the kernels of the Shea Tree’s fruits of West Africa.

What is it? Oil pressed from the fruit kernel of the Tamanu nut tree (aka “Foraha Oil” or “Green Gold”). Contains high levels of Oleic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Palmitic Acid, and Stearic Acid.

What is it? A salt composed of a sodium cation and a bicarbonate anion.
What are its benefits? Supports gum health. Has mild abrasive properties that let it break the bonds of molecules that stain the teeth. It also has bacteria-fighting properties.

FOOD GRADE "LIVING" CALCIUM MONTMORILLONITE BENTONITE CLAY (UNREFINED)
What is it? Form of Calcium Montmorillonite Bentonite Clay also known as Green Clay or Desert Clay.
What are its benefits? Rich in bioavailable minerals, including calcium, magnesium, silica, and potassium, all beneficial to teeth and gums. Mildly abrasive to gently polish, clean, and whiten teeth. Has the ability to bind with heavy metals, toxins, harmful bacteria, and other contaminants, effectively removing them from your mouth.

What is it? Mined from the Salt Range mountains of Pakistan, near the Himalayas, created from ocean deposits 600 and 540 million years old. Also called Pink Himalayan Salt.
What are its benefits? Encourages production of salivation, which supports remineralization of teeth. Himalayan Salt eliminates risk of plastic contamination found in most modern sea salts. Superior to common table salt due to macro and trace minerals.

What is it? A family of organic acids, natural compounds, and components of the humus (which is a fraction of soil organic matter). What is it? A powerful antioxidant. Can be produced from natural and synthetic sources.
What are its benefits? Acts as a natural preservative for our natural soap. Antioxidants protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals. (Used in soley in making our 3 in 1 Bar).

SODIUM CITRATE
What is it? An extract that comes from the fermentation process of crude sugars like molassas.
What are its benefits? Antioxidant added to the soap oils during the saponification process that protects natural soap oils from going rancid. (Used in soley in making our 3 in 1 Bar).

SORBITAN OLIVATE
What is it? A mixture of fatty acids from olive oil plus a dehydrated sugar known as sorbitol.
What are its benefits? It functions as an emulsifier and mild cleansing agent. Helps bind liquids to oils. Helps moisturize skin.
