Yes. The blend of arrowroot, diatomaceous earth, and raw cacao creates a neutral tone that blends well into light, medium, and dark hair. A small amount goes a long way — and using a brush can give even more seamless blending.
Is it safe for sensitive scalps?
Our formula contains only six minimally processed, plant- and earth-based ingredients with no synthetic fragrance, aerosols, or harsh chemicals. Arrowroot and cacao are naturally gentle. If you're highly sensitive to essential oils, spot test first due to the presence of Palo Santo essential oil.
How often can I use it?
You can use it as often as needed. The lightweight, non-aerosol formula won’t create heavy buildup like conventional dry shampoos. Many people use it several times between washes to extend time between shampoos.
Can this replace regular shampoo?
Dry shampoo helps refresh hair, absorb oil, and extend time between washes — but it doesn’t replace washing completely. It’s ideal for travel, camping, busy days, post-workouts, and supporting a balanced scalp while reducing overall water use.
Is this dry shampoo TSA-friendly for air travel?
Yes. This is a 2 oz (26 g) powder in a non-aerosol glass jar, so it’s TSA-friendly and can go in your carry-on. Because it’s a dry powder (not a liquid or spray), it travels especially well and won’t pressurize or leak like aerosol cans.
How many uses will I get from one jar?
It depends on hair length, thickness, and how much you use each time, but most people get around 60–100 uses from one 2 oz jar with light application to roots only. Using a small amount and applying with a brush can significantly extend how long it lasts.
Will it leave a white cast or visible residue?
