1. Sign in to your Social Snowball account here and view your link on the Akamai dashboard.
2. Search your email for our welcome email — with the subject line “Welcome to Akamai's Referral Program”.
3. Email our customer support team.

All commissions and payouts are tracked through the Social Snowball dashboard. You can complete your registration by clicking here. You are not required to register an account to earn commissions with the Akamai Referral Program.

All commissions are produced in store credit. You will earn a commission every time someone makes their first purchase using your unique referral link/code.

All commissions are sent directly to your account. You will have the choice to redeem your owed commissions via Store Credit. You can view your dashboard here. Please note that store credits cannot be utilized for current subscription orders.

You will receive an email within the first 5 business days of the month for the previous month’s commissions. Please note that all payments are made after the 45-day return window has cleared.

No, self-referrals are not eligible for rewards. The referral program is designed to encourage you to introduce Akamai to new customers who have not yet experienced our products. Referring yourself or creating multiple accounts to take advantage of the rewards is considered a violation of our program's terms and conditions.

No, using Google Ads or any other paid advertising platforms to promote your referral link is not allowed. We only accept organic, genuine referrals through personal connections, such as friends, family, and acquaintances. Paid advertisements can often lead to fraudulent or spammy referrals, which goes against the spirit of our program.

When sharing your referral link on social media, we encourage responsible and respectful sharing. Here are some best practices to follow:

• Be transparent: Clearly disclose that you may earn a reward if someone makes a purchase through your referral link.
• Personalize your message: Share your genuine experiences with Akamai's products and explain why you love them.
• Avoid spamming: Refrain from excessive posting or sending unsolicited messages to individuals who may not be interested in the referral program.

Referral codes are only eligible for first time orders. We cannot apply codes to past orders. Our software will not allow for self-referrals or anyone with the same IP address you use.

Affiliates who refer themselves will not be permitted and may result in removal from the program. In addition, no commission will be applied to orders that are refunded, returned, or cancelled.
